The second album I received from Unmatched Brutality Records was Guttural Secrete – Artistic Creation With Cranial Stumps. Guttural Secrete really differs in style, compared with Massmurder. Massmurder intends to go very fast, without pause. Guttural Secrete are definitely going fast, but they have far more mid tempo pieces which are supported with one of the sickest vocals I ever heard.

The first song begins with a sick intro with some man bashing someone, and then the fury is released. The vocals did kick me so hard I instantly thought about Disgorge. The only thing is that Disgorge didn’t left me as startled as I was when I heard this! I’m quite upset that this is only an MCD, with 4 songs on it. The songs are matching each other in brutality and it’s quite a pleasure to my ears. This is one of the best death metal headbang bands I know on this planet. Those mid tempo pieces are really kicking shit out of your arse. The second song on the album, Ejaculating Obesity, surely takes it to the highest level on this album. This is because it features all the brutality this band can scrape together and believe me, that’s a lot. Incestuous Refiguration starts with another rancorous introduction, but the song is quite swinging. It reminded me somewhat of Fleshless from The Czech Republic, which have that same swinging style. The 4th and last song is Visected In Vaginal Bile, which is a very brutal standard US death metal song, that isn’t really bad, but it could have been more brutal.

I think it’s a pity that there are only 4 songs on the album. The songs are really okay, and you’ll only get 16 minutes of music. I think this isn’t a problem, because those 4 songs will make your money worth. If you favour brutal vocals and music like Disgorge, you’ll get along with this album. Again I have to conclude it with a meant “Thumbs Up” to this band.
