Carnal Rapture - Promo 2004
A few days ago I received a promo from a band called Carnal Rapture, Back in 1992 the BAND got started under the name of Internal Bleeding, and later the name was changed to Carnal Rapture.
The band plays Death/thrash metal and sometimes it sounds pretty acceptable.

The album arrived in a plastic cd bag with on the front the paper, on which was, the front of the promo and on the back the names of the artists and�song titles.�The first thing that caught my attention was the fact that the promo only had two songs.

The fact that the promo had only two songs�disappointed me big time because I�think it's difficult to base an opinion on only two songs but I gave it my best shot!
When the first song began I was very disappointed by the song because I couldn’t hear much of links between the different instruments, every instrument has its own sound but together it doesn’t sound very well.
The vocals are pretty strong but are a bit pushed to the background by the instruments.
The second song I hoped for�something better but that turned out to be the same as the first song.
The songs on this album represent a lot of chaos, even more chaos than the 2nd Christmas day in Asia! The songs haven’t got anything that puts it together, all the instruments are playing but not one fits with the style or sound of another.
�
Maybe that other songs of Carnal Rapture sound better but that’s something I can’t judge about with this very short demo of this band.
