In Mitra Medusa Inri - Dreams
In Mitra Medusa Inri was formed in the early nineties (1992 to be exact)
and was thus founded in a time when Wave was believed dead. That's the style
In Mitra Medusa Inri play, according to themselves, Whatever that may be.
Dreams is already their third full lenght album released through Apollyon
As I don't know much about this kind of music and I'll try to make an honest
review.
The disc starts with Enstranglement, and immediately the electronic beats
fly through the speakers. With a very ambient voice the vocalist sings his
words to the world. I must be honest, and I certainly don't mind this music.
The songs on the album are relaxed, laid back, whatever you want.
There is No One Calling is the second song and it doesn't much diver from
the rest, because my untrained ear doesn't recognize it yet. I would like
to describe the music as electronical darkwave, with a vocalist who some-
times sound like Peter Steele nowadays. The music is excellent for a trip.
Just make sure to get the right stuff in your house, and take your portion
of mushrooms.... And then listen to In Mitra Medusa Inri. I'd rather not
promote for drugs but this kind of music you only can listen when your mind
is far from reality.
More real tripsongs are Dreams, Why and The Truth. Now I must tell the truth
too. I was highly in an other world when writing this review. I believe there
is no other way to do this kind of music.
I will conclude this review. Normally we don't make exeptions about
rewriting reviews, but if there is someone who reads this and wants to re-
write this, then he/she may contact me.
