Day 3 - Last but not least
More is coming of this day but we had to leave early, DemonDust will complete the review as soon as possible. For now the bands we have seen.

HATESPHERE

After waking up with a minor hangover, it was time of one of my favorites of the day. Nothing beats some metal when you're enjoying a headache. I only saw the last couple of songs, but as usual, Hatesphere played tight. They are one of the few bands who seem to have some "groove" in their material, even in faster songs. Good show, can't wait to see them in a small club soon.

AXEL RUDI PELL

Because nothing cool was playing, we checked out our old buddy Axel. Old school heavy metal time! I had a fun time. The band played great, and their current vocalist actually has a voice that didnt annoy me. That doesnt happen much these days regarding old-man's metal.

ABORTED

Last band for me was Belgium's Aborted, who totally convinced me of their capabilities. Aborted mixes up grind and death metal, with the occasional stoner-like riff and other influences. Flawless playing by the band in front of their home-crowd, and I spotted quite a few people who didnt know the band but went to check it out anyways. Can't say much about the show itself since I sat outside the tent but according to the cheers of the public, it was probably a blast.
