Megadeth, Evile - Thrashing the Paradiso in Amsterdam
Support act of the night was Evile, this UK based band plays thrash metal heavily influenced by Slayer and Annihilator. The band recently signed to Earache and released their debut album Enter The Grave. And being a support act, the band managed to present the audience with some descent sounds. For 40 minutes the band kept on destroying the stage. A Megadeth audience is hard to please but the first 10 rows seemed to enjoy the warming up. The band still needs to learn what the perfect formula for entertainment is, but by supporting Megadeth on this tour they will have plenty of time to learn. (Buzzin Hornet)

Thanks to the Dutch rail company I arrived just in time. For Megadeth that is... When I entered Paradiso, Megadeth took the stage and rocked the fuckin' house! I personally think Paradiso is the best venue in the world. All the greats have played there and I really want to rock that stage someday...Oh well, dreams 'ey!!

Megadeth is a band that needs no further introduction and have a reputation they have to hold up in this relatively small, extremely sold out venue. The place was packed with people! Megadeth did not dissappoint! They played a lot of their classics and even though Dave Mustaine said he doesn't like talking through shows, he proved a real showman! The only problem was that you never quite heard what he was singing. What I did hear were the endless fantastic solos performed by both guitarplayers! These guys know their stuff! Megadeth prooved to be a great band and if their t-shirts weren't so damn ugly (or if my funds weren't so damn low!) I would have gotten one! Dave still knows how to please a crowd. If they're nearby, be sure to buy your ticket fast! (LondonCustoms)
