Former Hirax members Gary Monardo, Johnnie Tabares, Scott Owen and Bob Savage (who played on the group's 1984 demo) are currently in the studio with former Wargod singer Rob Perkins recording tracks for a forthcoming album, to be released under the band name Raging Violence. The Cd will contain five revamped versions of classic Hirax songs, including "Born In The Streets" from the 1984 four-song cassette demo, plus three new cuts. Recording is expected to be completed in early August, with the mixing and mastering to follow in September. The band will then seek out a suitable record label to press and distribute the album.
