Now there's a new bandname that I truly find funny, because it makes no fucking sense at all; Arsonists Get All The Girls. I wonder what that would look like, people setting fire to buildings surrounded by hot bitches. Hell, I'd join 'em if that's what gets the job done! Lets see what the music on The Game Of Life is all about.

 

The music AGATG creates is most comparable to that of bands as Cephalic Carnage and The Red Chord, which means crazy songs with fast brutal parts and heavy breakdowns. The band has two vocalists (which I didn't notice until I read it I must say), who both also handle keys. The keys are the thing that differs this band from all the others. The tunes created by them are most of the time very catchy and they almost always come out of the blue in a way that I didn't expect but I like very much. Great asset of this band.

 

Furthermore I must say that after hearing the album at least ten times I've become somewhat of a fan of it. But of course the comparison to Cephalic Carnage and The Red Chord already explained because I adore those bands. If this is as enjoyable live as those two bands then I'm a happy man, so get your asses over to Europe dudes!

 

I will end my review with the short description by the band about their music, and I quote: "The Game Of Life offers its own take on what happens when a gay train derails on its way to straight town (we don't know what it means either... but we like it)." I couldn't have said it better. Recommendation for laughter, read the song titles.
