The Bones - Partners In Crime Vol. 1
A tiny, tiny rock n roll compilation by my no.1 rock n roll group from Sweden: The Bones! It's a short disc, but it's definitely worth checking out.

First off, the Ramones classic "I Wanna Be Sedated", with assistance of Sick Of It All's Lou Koller and Agnostic Front's Roger Miret, nice choice of vocals, but yeah we know that song by now. Way, way more entertaining is the Bay City Roller's classic "Yesterday's Hero", that has topped my playlist for weeks now. But that has more to do with the choice of vocals: Mike McColgan who sang on the Dropkick Murphys legendary debut album. Quite funny is "Psycho Dad", which is (as far as I know) a song from the cheesy sitcom "Married With Children". "Home Swing Hell" is a bizar rockabilly outlet of corny swingin white trash music. In other words: it's quite cool! "It's My Life" is a song originally by Wendy 'O Wiliams (who?!), and gets backup by Crucified Barbara's hot chick Mia Coldhart. Finally there's the epic and classic Social Distortion singalong "King Of Fools", sang by Backyard Babies' Nicke Borg, who sounds a lot like Mike Ness to begin with.

All in all this is something that only Bones fanatics and Rock n Roll collector freaks are gonna buy. And they were going to buy it anyway, right? A comforting thought: it's worth yer money.
