Oceansize is fantastic, we all know that. Rotown isn't famous for its superior sound quality as a stage. So that's -1 and +1, which made me start at a zero!

Rotown was filled up with metalfans alike and we were ready to rock! But because it was so full of people, it was so damn hot!! I literally wanted to take off my skin! Last time it was so hot at a concert was when I saw the Backstreet Boys in de Baroeg, but that's neither here nor there. Looking back in time at previous concerts in Rotown, I was a bit sceptic on the subject of sound. After all, it is more of a pub than a venue....Too bad I was right, when there was a double bass, there was only double bass and nothing else. Everything just blended into a giant wall of noise, which totally sucked ass!

Oceansize is a great band and deserves better! Even with this crappy sound, their skill is crazy! it was just to bad that they also did not really adapt to small venue. Oh well, they're still nearby so I'm looking for a rematch very soon!
