Korn - Take A Look In The Mirror
Korn Take A Look In The Mirror Korn is always surprising me. The first time I met with this band was on Dynamo. They totally surprised me. Ive never heard of Korn before and then they were there. So back from Dynamo I was looking for their first album and on one day Ive found it. Thank God or what else for that day. Since that day I always have been waiting for the next album. Together with a friend weve collected everything we could find about Korn even cds from earlier bands like L.A.P.D. So last week I saw the new Kornalbum in the record shop. I didnt listen to the album before I bought it. Back home Ive been listing it for several times and here is what Ive to tell you. How can I describe the music on this 6th album from this leading band. Its somewhere between Life is Peachy and Follow the Leader. But I also hear some new influences (again). The new album is not like the last album. Its harder. You could meet it last summer with the song Did My Time from the Tombraider soundtrack. That song gives you an impression of the new album. Jonathan is singing and screaming with full emotion. The guitars do have that typical Kornsound but in an other way. The album contains some high quality songs and even the bagpipe is back. I think thats because they didnt work with a producer but recorded the album in Jonathans house. Ironic is the song Yall Want A Single as their big Fuck You to everybody who didnt listen to Korn Anymore. On Play Me Nas raps a song with Korn. This album surprised me, and it will surprise you! Tracklist 1. Right Now 2. Break Some Off 3. Counting On Me 4. Here It Comes Again 5. Deep Inside 6. Did My Time 7. Everything Ive Known 8.
