And of course he does nothing else but enjoying obscenity, murder, violence, porn and gore. So nothing new here. The guitar sound however has slightly changed. Hymen Holocaust naturally always has a raw and distorted sound, but this time the guitars are just a little bit too distorted, in a way that it becomes slightly annoying. Besides that, the vocals tend to be overruled by the guitar on some parts; the vocals could have had some more power and higher volume at some points. Apart from these production matters Morris just delivered a fine goregrind full with swinging polka rhythms once more.

 

Hymen Holocaust is a decent release for every goregrind fan out there, but it’s just a notch of lesser quality than we are used to, mostly because of the production.
