Revolting Cocks - Sex-O Olympic-O
Sex-O Olympic-O is to be Revolting Cocks’ last effort with co-founder Al Jourgensen featured on it, who has already put a halt to Ministry and continues on his path of retirement. The industrial-dance-metal act wont seize to exist though, for the torch will be carried on by a new generation of Revolting Cocks. Let’s review!
According to the biography a little glam-rock has seeped in with the mix on this record, which is indeed notable from time to time. The industrial disco dance rock music does still sound catchy, homo-erotic, danceable and occasionally a bit dangerous, which makes it a fun album to listen to. We already got treated to the new single at Ministry’s C U LaTour which is named ‘I’m Not Gay’ which is an excellent title if I do say so myself. For those not familiar with RC, sexist lyrics are not an exception for just this one track.
Like usual, Revolting Cocks sound like party time at a strip club, which can be nothing but good times of course. It is the last one on which you’ll hear Al go at it with his guitar and microphone, yet it is only the ending of the first chapter of a revolting legacy.
