Skip The Rush - PopRonde 's Hertogenbosch

When I saw that Skip The Rush was playing in my favorite bar I had to go there. Because it was free I called a friend and we went together, arriving there we met Siem. After talking to some people there and watching Awaiting Seasons, who were pretty good, it was time for Skip The Rush to enter the stage.

In almost two years Metalrage has received two promos of this band. I was looking forward to this night and when I was up front watching them, it was great to see them. The band played a 12 song setlist and played every song that is on their 'Chaperone' EP. Normally the sound isn't that good in Plein79 (The venue/bar) but the sound was pretty good this night. Therefor the sound wasn't that bad. After they played the setlist the band left the stage but the audience wanted more. After some yelling and screaming the band returned and promised to play another song if the audience bought their EP. Again the audience went crazy and it was the perfect ending for a good night.

Too bad that the songs the DJ played after the show weren't that good and we decided to go home. When I walked to my car Siem called me, his bicycle was stolen. Another bummer on a night that was great so far. After all the show was great and if you want to see what is neurorock live, go out and see this band live!
