Wasted - EP
30.000 ft off the ground on a KLM flight the story of Wasted begins; guitarist Frank Suicide and singer Marcellus Wallace appeared to be on the same flight, Marcellus listened to a demo that Frank had recorded and immediately started to write lyrics on the music. 2004, Wasted was the support act for Anti Product in Tilburg (little Devil), and I asked for a cd and they gave me this EP. During the show I got a good impression of this band. So I listened to the album and it is a great rock&roll band, the music is easy listening and not to complex but its a great sound and the tunes will stay in your head after listening to the album, and if Im honest the sound is very familiar but I dont know where I heard it before. Its a great EP and the live material that is used on this EP is very clear. The song Naked is acoustic and that surprised me because thats not what you would expect of this band but they make it sound so relax with the guitar tunes and the voices of Frank and Marcellus. My opinion of the album is very good, the band makes music they like and you can hear it very well on the EP, but I think the drummer is holding back on his capacity. If you like rock&roll you have to listen to this album. Line-Up: Marcellus Wallace: Vocals Frank E Suicide: Guitar Dave o Lution: Drums Jeff lis McBacon: Bass Tracklisting: 1.
