Godsmack - The Other Side
2004, this is the fourth time Godsmack comes with a new album, this time its an acoustic album with songs from previous albums and some new ones.

The album is called The Other Side, and this is indeed the other side you see from Godsmack, normally the songs are heavy and dark with a low voice but instead now the songs are really easy going and very relax. The fact that the album is acoustic, I think is related to the fact the band members wanted to try something challenging instead of making another studio album. With this album Godsmack proved that they are a really great band and that they can make an acoustic album sound GREAT. My opinion of the album is that some of the previous released songs like Re-Align, are really cool played acoustic, but Asleep is a bit boring, the original song is really hard and fast but the acoustic version is really to slow and that is to bad because the song is fucking awesome. The new songs sound really cool but I hope to hear them on a normal studio album too.
