In 1991 Slint released Spiderland, a monumental album with a dramatical undertone and a vocal approach ranging from spoken word to shouting outcries. The devastating impact is still immense in the landscape of alternative (post) rock and metal. Many artists still cite Slint as a band on its own with its dark and alienated twist on alternative rock. After the album Slint broke up and reunited shortly in 2007 for a slew of shows to honor the album.

With the 2014 rerelease of the landmarking album in a boxset (including two bonus LPs and a DVD) the name Slint is again on the horizon. They appeared on the All Tomorrow's Parties edition of last December, are doing some festivals now and playing June 5th in TivoliVredenburg in the Pandora hall. In the black Pandora the eerie rock of Slint will impact you more as ever.

You'll never know if the band appears again on stage or in the studio so you better take the chance to see them once again.
