Various Artists - The Best Of: Taste Of Chaos
Warcon Enterprise presents the world their compilation full with the biggest and best Metal and punk bands out there. The compilation is titled “The Best Of The Taste Of Chaos” and consists out of two discs with a lot of bands and songs. Taste of Chaos (TOC) is a tour in the states with big bands and the CD got the purpose to warm-up the crowd for this years winter edition.
The compilation has got 26 tracks with bands like Killswitch Engage, Blindside, The Deftones and Shadows Fall. You can find every single popular genre out there on this compilation. And this makes this compilation a very surprising disc to play in the car. And that is what I did before writing this review. One familiar band after the other passed the sound system and it is clear that the best songs are always on a compilation.
After 36 songs of bands like Adair, Most Precious Blood, Every Time I Die, Avenged Sevenfold, Rise Against and many more I am clearly satisfied. It is a great compilation with a lot of music and if you want to check out a lot of bands on one compilation you will have to buy this one. Too bad the tour with bands like Deftones, Atreyu, As I Lay Dying and Dredg this winter has only got dates in the USA and Canada.
As you might see the compilation is one to check out several artists. It sure is not a collectors item like a full length album. It is nice to have and a great way to promote artists who are playing or have played on your tour!
