Are you used to some chaotic music which would make a regular person go insane? Then this CD will be interesting for you; if you’re not you will probably not survive this mind-blowing experience.
This CD contains the most disturbing music that you ever heard in your life. It doesn’t fit in any genre, but electronic grind noise would be a good name for this monstrous album. A song could start with a nice double bass, which evolves into absurd electronic Berzerker speeds, make chaotic jumps like The Dillinger Escape Plan, throw in some (electronic) hardcore beats and let your ears hear the most awful noises which you couldn’t ever have expected to exist. Add a handful of awesome samples from movies and games like Tekken to this explosive mixture and you pretty much got the recipe for a song of this CD.
Around 15 artists perform 67 songs of approximate 1 minute and one the most well-known artist is Agoraphobic Nosebleed. Much of the material is as brutal as these guys with a big role for guitars, but with the electronic beats there are very many breaks which make the music very chaotic. Almost now vocals are heard, the few times it does occur these are deep, often electronically modified grunts. This fits in well with the insane feeling of the entire CD.
There’s absolutely no consistency in the song structures, which makes this CD very hard to listen to. So if you like an ear destroying listening challenge and you’re open minded, try this out!
